Tomika Barnett is an accomplished social media professional with extensive experience in the creation and management of social media strategies and digital campaigns for brands and organizations - both big and small.

Outside of working with clients of DION Creative Agency, she serves as the procurement process specialist at the UPS corporate headquarters, where she assists in formulating cross functional work streams focused on compliance and process auditing initiatives across the entire organization. In her role, she develops, updates, and maintains various databases, programs, and materials to support specific compliance program functional areas, as well as analyzes financial and risk-related data to assist and support the compliance and process auditing group in effectively planning strategic and tactical direction for the company.
She was the external communications coordinator at Southern Company Gas. Southern Company Gas, one of the nation's best-known energy brands, provides efficient natural gas solutions for approximately 4.2 million customers through their regulated distribution companies in four states. They also serve 774,000 retail customers through companies that market natural gas.
Specifically, Barnett partnered with interdepartmental teams to lead strategic planning of monthly customer content for seven companies across the Southern Company Gas enterprise. Her tasks included the development of commercial social media posts and external website content to drive organic traffic. With this partnership, a 3% increase in organic reach was achieved by the end of Q1 2019. She also managed social media accounts and created daily social media posts that increased following and
clicks by 200%, as well as assisted in email marketing initiatives and campaigns.
Barnett understands the importance of analytics and utilizing data to drive strategy.
